Easyjet update in focus after the flight was canceled because the French strike

Easyjet will look for any guidelines about the impact of the new French air traffic control attack attack when updated on Thursday after revealing hundreds of flights must be canceled.

The group joined the Ryanair budget rival in eroding flights to and from France for two days in July due to industrial action, with flights in France to destinations such as Britain, Greece, Spain and Ireland.

Tens of thousands of customers see their travel plans disrupted by the strike two days on 3 and 4 July, with Easyjet cancel 274 flights, while Ryanair canceled 170, affecting more than 30,000 passengers with Irish operators alone.

The third quarter of Easyjet based in Luton will be monitored for each estimated financial blow from the disorder.

Seasonal demand for air travel means airlines often record losses in winter followed by profits in the summer.
