We are very pleased to announce that our talented students at Sporthood Football Academy recently demonstrated their skills and sportsmanship on the international stage by participating in three prestigious tournaments: the Saltmine Cup, the Sokolik Cup in Poland, and the German Cup. These experiences allow our students to gain invaluable exposure, compete against top teams from around the world, and create unforgettable memories.
Salty Mine Cup, Poland
Our students have the amazing opportunity to represent India in one of the biggest youth football tournaments in Poland, the Saltmine Cup. Competing against teams from all over Europe at the best facilities in the mountainous province of Nowy Sącz, our players showed outstanding performance and dedication. The tournament also offers the opportunity to explore the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine in Kraków, a UNESCO Heritage site. This annual event attracts elite teams such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Benfica, Valencia, as well as Polish giants Legia Warszawa and Wisla Kraków. As the only team from India, our students take on these prestigious clubs, taking home experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
The match was held in the picturesque town of Stary Sącz in the 13th century, with games taking place simultaneously on various fields. Each team plays a minimum of six games against high-quality opponents.
Sokolik Cup, Poland
Representing India at the Sokolik Cup in Poland was a great experience for our students. Competing against top European teams in Nowy Sącz, our young athletes demonstrated great enthusiasm, strategic prowess and teamwork. They also had the opportunity to explore the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a historic site that has a chapel, various statues and a museum. This tournament features big teams such as FC Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City, PSV Eindhoven, Benfica, Valencia, Legia Warszawa and Wisla Kraków. Our team, the sole representative of India, played against this elite opposition, gaining invaluable experience.
All participating teams play a minimum of six matches. Prior to the tournament, a High Performance camp was organized in India by our senior coaches. The camp includes intense group training sessions, competitive matches against local teams, and a personalized development plan for each participant. Accommodations are comfortable, nutritious meals are provided, and parents traveling with the team stay in the same hotel.
German Cup
The German Cup is a unique and enriching experience for our students. They train under the guidance of UEFA-licensed senior coaches at DFA, one of Germany’s top academies. This tournament, held in Dortmund, saw our team compete against top German clubs. In addition to the competition, our participants explored Munich and Dortmund, engaging in various recreational activities.
Training at DFI’s integrated campus in Bad Aibling, near Munich, allows our players to train and compete with residential teams under the guidance of experienced coaches. The German Cup guarantees a minimum of six matches per team, offering excellent exposure and reinforcing the lessons from our High Performance Camp.
In addition to the football field, our students explore Dortmund, a global center for commerce, culture, education, tourism and transportation. With an excellent public transportation system, they find it convenient to visit popular tourist destinations, enjoy authentic cuisine, and discover historical sites, creating unforgettable memories.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google.
