Genesis is for what Hyundai Lexus for Toyota – luxury cousin for the main stream brand. Over the years, Lexus was seen as a retirement treat for parents, but worked hard to change the image, creating one of the great supercars of all time on LFA and GT which was striking on LC 500, which somehow even cooler on day to day.

When I opened the door to the GV70 electricity, revealed ivory ivory skin, I found myself wondering -an extraordinary supercar that might need to be launched by Genesis to improve its own image. However, I was sub-30, and after a week with GV70, I both wanted it and thought it was really cool.

The workplace is the first requirement of something really cool, and the GV70 is superior without lifting your fingers. It glides, absorbs a lump and gives a relaxed driving experience, with an active sound cancellation to become your cocoon from the outside world. For something with the dynamics of handling balloon balloons, this is also a very fast car in a straight line.

Accelerative pull is changing the mind for cars with this size and weight, but more impressive than the speed itself is how it is disguised. Delivery of power is very modest and free of drama, the only sign that you firmly is head-rush when blood flows from your face. And that before you press the Boost button, unlock the full 490HP output for 10 seconds.

The ease of acceleration quickly makes it really addictive, until I realize that using the boost every opportunity I get quickly chewing the honorable GV70 – but below the industry standard – 287 miles.

GV70 is easy to drive, some thanks to a variety of intelligent technologies. I arrived at the destination with a fresh feeling, assisted by optional peace and comfort package, each of which adds to the diffuser of the aroma and chair of ergo motion. While I save £ 260 for the first, an ergonomic seat that can be fully adjusted in the £ 1,070 comfort package is very sensational. They also fulfilled strange childhood ambitions to drive a car with a massage chair.

The second defining feature of cool is the rejection to adjust to the norm. Even choosing genesis than a more famous brand (and most Germany) is a calm rejection of the usual. Ivory skin does show that smooth or magic is a programmed radio station that has been programmed, but I am sure more specifications ‘Radio 1’ are available if you are more familiar with the work of Roman Kemp than his father.

The GV70 interior was built with real quality, which brought me to a cool final characteristic: self -confidence. Materials and lighting throughout the cabin feels luxurious but unpretentious, the middle console of the brushed aluminum is equipped with fine blue ambient lighting. Everything feels solid, and the final premium results inspire the belief that the car was built with quality in mind.

One -only a little sauce comes from a plastic navigation control wheel. Considering this is an element that you often interact, it can feel more tactile and convincing expensive.

The final premium result is supported by some unique technologies aimed at those who have grown in the era of smartphones than people who are more comfortable with a rotary dial. Most functions are controlled through a 27 -inch screen that is passionate and easy to use, and the key can be replaced with your cellphone to open a car, plus a fingerprint scan to start.

However, do not throw the key too fast, because it can also be used as a remote control for car maneuvers entering and exiting strict parking space.

GV70 with Anggun combines style, improvement, and performance in a way that rival many luxury SUVs. Although it is clearly attractive to older generations with layered massage chairs to help ease back pain, I believe it is also an aspirational choice for generations who know off-white as a brand of streetwear clothing, rather than Dulux color.

The incident was cool because this was the brand ‘If you know, you know’ – what you want to have now before everyone does it. It feels elegant, understanding technology and authoritative without being striking.

Electric GV70 has a real presence on the road but never feels like excessive compensation. Being fast easily, with different confidence and quietly guaranteed, it realizes the three cool elements into a successful package.
