‘We are being made a scapegoat’

The law firm used by Angela Rayner under the fire for the purchase of a £ 800,000 flat at Hove said that they had been made “scapegoat” and did not give a representative of the Prime Minister of Tax Advice.

Starmer under pressure

Rayner has stated that he received advice before the purchase of property and then paid £ 30,000 in the stamp assignment. Since then he claimed to pay less than 40,000 after the new legal advice obtained in the last few days.
