Tony Bloom’s 96 percent share ownership in Brighton and Hove Albion is the largest English stock in the Premier League club while Matthew Benham’s significant ownership in Brentford is the only other figure above the two-thirds of the majority.

While more than 66 percent of Tottenham Hotspur belongs to England, the biggest ownership of the family’s trust in Joe Lewis-number is only 61 percent of the London club.

West Ham – 39 percent – and Manchester United – 29 percent – are two other clubs where the largest single stock is the largest, according to data compiled by athletics.

Furthermore, only two clubs are 100 percent owned by one individual – STAN Kroenke at Arsenal and Shahid Khan in Fulham.

Data shows that 49 percent of shares in 20 Premier League clubs, after bets are traced back to individuals, are owned by individuals from the United States.

Ownership of the Premier League

Britain Great – 22 percent – is the second while people like China, Greece, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland all polls between four and five percent shares in the Premier League.

Uruguay, Egypt, Czech representing one-to-one percent while “institutions and others” also conducted a 2 percent poll.

American ownership of European football has continued to grow and new agreements, such as the Friedkin group at Everton and Woody Johnson’s Share Exchange with former Crystal Palace John Textor shareholders, showed the trend.

Compared to the five clubs whose largest shareholders come from England, 10 out of 20 main clubs have the largest or largest shareholders who are registered as US individuals, including people like Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Leeds, and Liverpool.

Outside the United Kingdom and the US, Nassef Sawiris from Egypt is the largest shareholder in Aston Villa; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the largest shareholder in Manchester City; Evangelos Marinakis Greek holds the key in the forest; Kyril Louis-Dreyfus born in Swiss controls Sunderland; and Saudi Arabian public investment funds – controlled by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman – have control in Newcastle.
